Jack Riston was born in 1946 and grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. After graduating from the University in Lincoln, Jack toured the world as an Air Force Communications Officer. Upon retirement from the Air Force, he returned to Lincoln, and started a second career as an American history teacher.
In 2002, Jack retired to Shasta, California, where he makes his home with his wife, two Australian Shepherds, various cats, and a sky full of American Bald Eagles. Jack spends his spare time by woodworking, kayaking on the many small lakes in and around Shasta, and writing. Current events happening around the world continue to shape forthcoming books that Jack is developing.
“For All The Marbles” is Jack Riston’s first novel, and draws heavily on the history still being written about the events and the aftermath surrounding 9/11.
